     6        transcript accurately -- the actual study?  There are two
     7        studies you mentioned, one was the National Quality Audit?
     8        A.  Yes, the National Quality Audit.

    12   MR. JUSTICE BELL:  You said Texas AM and Texas State University?
    13        A.  And Colorado State, there were three universities.

    15   Q.   And Colorado State?
    16        A.  Colorado State University, Texas AM University, Texas
    17        State, in coordination with several associations, the
    18        National Cattlemen's Association, the United States
    19        Department of Agriculture.

    MR. MORRIS:  Do you actually know what the title of the study
    22        was, the final?
    23        A.  The title was the National Beef Quality Audit, one.

    26        A.  That was the first study.  That study was designed to
    27        find out, to go to the different farms, to go to the
    28        slaughterhouses, go to the beef packing plants and they
    29        interviewed the retailers, the packers, and consumers, even
    30        ask the quick service restaurant to find out where they are
    31        today and find out quality, was mostly quality and
    32        non-conformities, and they wanted a base line data so they
    33        could measure improvement.

    35   Q.   That was published by those three universities, was it, or
    36        published by the US DA, do you know?

         A.  Yes.  If need be, yes.  I can supply you with a copy --
