Day 063 - 07 Dec 94 - Page 29

       A. Yes, or sometimes even more, but that has all been
accounted for, for that kind of differences are accounted
for in the summary table that is included in my statement.

  Q. The weight is included?
       A. Well, this would read as 200 grammes of paper of zero
per cent recycled and, for instance, the last one on
page 80 would read as 400 grammes of paper of 70 per cent
       recycled.

  Q. When it says "material EPS", what does that mean?
       A. Expanded polystyrene, foam polystyrene.

  Q. So it is not paper at all -- no, sorry, that is the actual
item. OK. Obviously, we do not want to spend all day on
       this.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No, the point you were particularly
interested in on this was the post-industrial or ---

  MR. MORRIS: Yes.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: -- post-consumer. So far as the generality
of the rest is concerned, Mr. Van Erp's evidence is that it
all found its way into his summary.

  MR. MORRIS: Yes.

MS. STEEL: This is actually on a slightly different point but
it is just looking at these documents. On page 73 there is
a salad container which you told us about yesterday were
imported from Canada, and they were used in this country,
       were they?
       A. These salad trays -- I think these salad trays were
       used in France actually, mainly.

  Q. Just France or was it like a general -----
       A. France and Holland. We have a got mix of suppliers who
supply salad trays; one is located in the UK and one is
located in Canada and now moved over to the UK as well.

  Q. On page 83 there is more salad packaging. This is produced
in the UK, except it is said that it is no longer produced?
       A. Yes.

  Q. So there was salad packaging available in Europe but the
company decided to import it from Canada instead?
       A. Yes, that is correct.

  Q. That is right?
       A. Yes.

  Q. Why was that?
       A. I could not tell you. That would have been a
combination of cost factors. It may have been service
factors that were actually available for that type of
packaging. It may have been that type of packaging is not
Lin Pac's main type of packaging. Therefore, they have
actually -- may have wanted to move away from that because
it was only small, a small -- one of their lesser important
