       description.

  Q. The only recycled percentage asked for was in the transport
       packaging, corrugated?
       A. Sorry, can you repeat that? I could not understand.

  Q. It is the middle columns, the case description, that are
       relevant to the recycled percentage?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Yes, that is what Mr. Van Erp said yesterday.

MR. MORRIS: At this time in 1992, end of 1992, there was a
       specification of what percentage?
       A. 50 per cent.

  Q. 50 per cent?
       A. Minimum.

  Q. Minimum. I think it seems to be fairly clear what the
table represents. Is your one numbered?
       A. Mine is not numbered, no.

  Q. Is it at the bottom?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: At the right left-hand side.

MR. RAMPTON: My Lord, since those were the originals,
Mrs. Brinley-Codd did not write on them.

THE WITNESS: Sorry, they are labelled. They have sticky labels
       on them. Sorry.

MR. MORRIS: I will just ask you a few questions: If we go for
       an example, say, page 23?
       A. Yes.

  Q. If we talk about recycled percentages, 30 per cent, that is
less than the minimum specification, is it not?
       A. Yes.

  Q. So how could you have a minimum specification if people are
       not adhering to it?
       A. Well, that was exactly the purpose of this exercise, is
to find out how many people do exactly adhere to it and
afterwards try to address it. In this particular case we
are talking about Polar Cup Finland and they were actually
not in a position to source corrugated with more than
30 per cent recycled since they have very little recycled
       paper available in Finland.

  Q. They are the major supplier of that material to McDonald's?
       A. Polar Cup Finland is one the Finland group which is a
group of about five or six -- actually more, but we use
about four or five plants in various areas and you can
       see -----

  Q. If we move on to -----
       A. -- for instance, if you can look to page No. 18, which
is in the same group, but that is the Polar Cup Spain one
where there is recycled material available, it would be 100
