                                Thursday 24th November, 1994.

MS. STEEL: I have two documents that are pretty short to hand
up. They are to go behind Ms. Dibb's statement.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: The last document I have at the moment behind
her statement is the one with a heart shaped fruit of some
kind on it. Should it go behind that?

MS. STEEL: Yes, that is fine.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Do you want to call Ms. Dibb now?

  MS. STEEL: Yes.

                  MS. SUSAN ELIZABETH DIBB, Sworn.
                     Examined by the Defendants

MS. STEEL: Can you give your full names to the court, please?
       A. My name is Susan Elizabeth Dibb.

  Q. Can you give your address?
       A. 17 Mortimer Crescent, London NW6 5AP.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: You are very faint; try to keep your voice
up. If you speak towards Mr. Rampton everyone will get it,
but speak up loud and clear and do not hurry.

MS. STEEL: I do not know whether you want -----

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I do not think there is any need to repeat
either the full name or her address.

MS. STEEL: Have you a copy of your statement in front of you?
       A. Yes, I have. And I have also got some notes that
I have made following the video, viewings of the video tape
that I have watched, and they also make cross-reference to
some of the references that I would want to refer to whilst
       I am giving evidence.

  Q. Is that OK?

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I think you should start by taking Ms. Dibb
who is your witness in the way you want to. Do
I understand from the question you asked that you would
like to follow the form you have done with other witnesses,
and whatever else you ask, have her statement which I have
and read as part of her evidence?

MS. STEEL: I was going to ask that, although I mean it is
fairly short, so it is not a problem if you did not want it
       taken as read.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: No, it is entirely a matter for you. I think
it would be quite convenient because she makes a number of
points there which I have already noted.

  MS. STEEL: OK.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: So why do you not do that? I will do it for
