Day 049 - 09 Nov 94 - Page 42

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Thank you, Ms. Gallatley.

(The witness withdrew)

MS. STEEL: You might remember that the other day, I was
referring, I think it was Mr. Green, to a report which I
said was the Shareholders Report, and you asked me whether
I had got a copy. I brought it in, in case you wanted to
see it, because I said you cannot read the white writing on
the photocopy and that it did say "McDonald's Annual
Report" on the front cover. It is in the McDonald's
profile bundle.

MR. MORRIS: Maybe if you just have a sight of it, it might
help.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Let me just find the profile.

MS. STEEL: Pink volume III.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Thank you. I will take that and make a note
in my own copy.

MS. STEEL: It is number 4 in that bundle.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I am sure I have been told a dozen times, but
the actual paper the Health of the Nation, have I got that,
and where?

MR. RAMPTON: It is in Professor Wheelock's references, my Lord,
at tab 2.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Well, unless there is anything else we must
discuss this evening?

MR. RAMPTON: I would just like to hand in two volumes of
Ms. Dibb's references. The indices, I hope, are
self-explanatory.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: Mr. Styles will collect them when I leave.
Is there any reason why I should not look at those in
advance, or would you rather I just left them alone until
tomorrow?

MR. MORRIS: The decision is yours, really.

MR. JUSTICE BELL: I think what I will probably do is just look
at each document to see what kind of document it is, but I
will not read into it at all. We will resume with
Mr. Miles at 10.30 in the morning.
