McDonald's Corp said it
opened its 200th restaurant in Taiwan, bringing the total
number of restaurants in Asia to more than 3,600.
``...McDonald's is investing more than $400 million per year in Asia,'' James Cantalupo, president of McDonald's International, said in a statement. McDonald's opened its first restaurant in Taiwan in 1984. McDonald's first opened in Japan in 1971 and has expanded in several countries in Asia since then. |
