- McJobs and Workers -Careers
Just a question, and I don't mean this in an insulting way, but something completely baffles me. I enjoy working part-time, but I hope to one day graduate from university and not end up working at McDonald's for my whole life. We have a great crew of managers at my store. In particular our head manager and assistants are intelligent, friendly and sensical people who could go far in life. It seems sad that people with so much potential would throw it away for a low-paying fast food job. Also, some of our full-time swings have to take two jobs, and it's sad to see people I look up to so sad and worn out. For those of you who have decided to make a career out of McDonald's, why did you decide this? Is it just a temporary thing, or do you intend to go back to school? None.
