Are you all employed by Hungry Jack's or some other take away gaint - look around you its not just macc's I live in South Australia we have high unemployment at least they are employing people why don't you target the governments who sells uranime and company's who a pushing for genetic engineering! Wake up and smell the coffee there a a lot more urgent issues people should be fighting for! Hence I believe you must be working agains the company for some gain! McSpotlight: We aren't employed by anyone; and we think all of the major fast food chains are nearly equally bad. McSpotlight exists because McDonald's tried to silence critics by using the law courts and their multinational power to silence dissenting opinion - and thus free speech.
The meat industry is one of the most destructive industries in the world today - and McDonald's is the largest single buyer of meat in the world. That gives us the perfect reason to criticize them; the fact that they try to silence their critics (rather than answering the charges) only goes to show that they don't have a defence that would carry any weight.
None of the McSpotlight volunteers receive any renumeration or gifts or concessions of any kind from anyone for their work on McSpotlight. In fact, it costs us; time and money; but we feel that it is a useful resource and contains information on the issues involved that are to the public good. That's why we do it.
