Whatever employees' situations may be at the "fast feeders", it isn't right for them to take it out on customers. You still owe the customers fresh edible food for the money they paid, and you owe them courtesy and respect. They pay your salary. It's not their fault you've got Henry the VIII for a manager.
Sharon has mentioned she has had fresh food from this place in the past. So I guess it's not impossible. I've been to places where I've heard bitchy supervisors and managers. Sometimes they were actually right. Other times they were just showing their ass. But I've been to more places where they were either wimps or clueless as to how to be team leaders.
In closing, some customers really do have valid complaints, ditto supers and managers. Not all situations are like yours, if it really is as bad as you make it out to be. And again I can't believe there's not another restaurant or dept. store where you live that you could apply at.
