Dear Fellow Worker Bacon:If I worked at a fastfood joint I would definitely brown bag it and that's exactly what I did when I worked at McD's and Whataburger.
MB: As for any experimental "co-op" McDonald's franchises: Remember! If you take out too much capital, it will wound the business, and this will put everyone at risk!
Qx: What if McD's executies take out too much capital or even the government takes out too much capital in the form of taxes? Somehow workers have to make a living but there's always a bank or two that can contrive a way too make even more money out of these kind of situations.
MB: And "stealing from yourselves" may mean you'll have to order beef, buns, etc. more often! Not to mention that this can affect your "employee-owned" franchise's health, too!
Qx: That really depends on how much is consumed by workers and more importantly; what food source is being utilized. Running a successful fastfood franchise is kind of like being a successful drug dealer: Sell but don't consume.
