Judas Priest!Again, whatever the owner and his exec friends might have done, did the customers really deserve such a display of unprofessionalism? It's still the customers who make things happen, ultimately. It isn't good business to wear your personal problems, or at-work problems, on your sleave. This reminds me of that commotion at the Rock 'N Roll Hall Of Fame induction last year. It was discussed on the VH-1 special that featured John Fogerty, former lead guitarist and singer for Creedance Clearwater Revival. Just after CCR and the other inductees completed the ceremonies, John shunned his former band-mates when it was time for that "informal" jam after the event. Hard to believe it! A man in his fifties acting like a child, wearing that friction on his sleave in front of all the fans who supported him and his former bandmates all these years! What a slap!!!!
And now we have two males contributing to an ever more unfavorable image by painting "Go Union" on their foreheads and encouraging the rest of the crew to do the same. Maybe the owner, management and Corporate cronies did throw their weight around and behave like shitheads, but... what did the CUSTOMERS do to deserve this performance that was put on by the crew?
And whether you choose to believe it or not, there ARE good franchises out there! This could cause a possibly GOOD McDonald's franchise that's less than 50 miles away to undeservedely lose business. Customers may get the image that ALL young people today are spoiled little farts, or... they might think that ALL McDonald's locations are cold and cruel sweatshops, result being the same they might just keep on drivin' till they reach a Denny's or DQ. Of course, the people with common sense know there are many good, responsible young citizens, and still plenty of decent McDonald's locations.
To close this, I've only read the accounts of these events by people who are by nature anti-business biased. I'd like to read an eyewitness account by a truly neutral party who's not biased to either the employee or union side, or the business world side.
