: I agree because we would have no cures or medicine at all. Plus those mice and rats we use well they produce extreme amounts of offspring. I would like to see every animal right's activist live in a world over run by rats and mice.

Except that there are things which live off rats and mice; a population boom in mice leads to a population boom in their predators, therefore the number of rats and mice can never become uncontrollable (unlike the number of humans, which have no natural predators). Simple population dynamics, kid.

: This method helps us in two ways,

:(1)helps controll the animal population better

It's perfectly capable of regulating itself without our "help".

:(2)Helps us discover new and important things.

This is debatable, to say the least. The physiological and genetic differences between rats and humans are sufficient to make tests on rats an inefficient guide to human biochemistry. And much animal testing just goes towards useless objects like cosmetics.

: Scientists don't just test things for fun the do it for the research. Have you ever heard of scientists testing things on endangered species? No you haven't.
