I can appreciate the late response here but Mulroney really was a corrupt bastard and Free Trade and the GST haven't really helped folks at all. Of course there are all kinds of apologias spewing forth from Ontario but what can we expect? By the way, what the hell are Canadian values? I bet that explanation might come off as a bit like American values and if anybody is surprised that the Liberals have reneged on their promises in regards to the GST and free trade then they buggered up real good. They are blind to the fact that Cretien was on the board of Toronto Dominion and the Liberals are just another mouthpiece for big business. None.
