how can you hate someone for their origin if you don't really know them?

just because i am german, does that mean you are gonna hate me for what my ancesters did a long time ago??? if you do then you are being just as bad if not worse. one question thought... how can you hate someone for their origin if you don't really know them?? you can respond to my email if you want to.
