- Multinationals -Governments mcscrewing us
These big multinationals treat their workers badly. we all know that they are underpaid and overworked. At the end of the day the governments we elect are letting them get away with it by not bringing in legislation that would prevent them from doing it. One might argue that if and when governments bring in such legislation , the way the big complanies get around it is by moving "the jobs" to a country where workers are not so well protected and that globalization and trade liberalization is facilitating this. This may be true and unavoidable in some industries but I know the only way American Mcdonalds can sell the the Canadian public is by having restaurants in this country. Therefore they are in a way forced to hire from this country. Otherwise they would have to pack up their business and get out. That would not hurt either. None.
