Zinc chloride is in many things!!! You will notice that there is a zinc compound in Centrum (from A to Zinc?!!?). Chloride is harmless, it is what you get from table salt (sodium chloride???). The part about Febreeze that might be harmful to the pets are the solvents in which the chemical are carried, not the zinc chloride. Solvent present a danger to anyone (ever heard of huffing???) None.
