Whta we have here is not monoploy, because there are a FEW big chains like this gobbling up everything in the small towns. Wal_mart, K Mart, etc. It has happened in Canada too.
The reason why it is Oligopoly ius because there is still room to get into the business, but it is owned by companies that are so rich, you need to be a billionaire to get it.
What is WORSE is SYNERGY... there is more than enough of that to go areouind and it's getting worse...
