I'd have to agree with Red: Peter Singer IS pretty mainstream in the animal rights movement. Like Red said, utilitarianism is his game, and that is hardly very radical. Gosh, what HAVE you been reading Stuart? If you really want to read some radical views about humans and nature, try John Livingston's "Rogue Primate". If I WERE to let a book rule my life, then this would be my "bible". Or, of course, there's your favourite topic: ecofeminism.
