This being neither the time nor the place to enter into a long a involved critique on this article, I would like to point out just one fact. It strikes me, that if 50% of all NE Europeans have significant levels of sulpur bacteria, why do only 0.2% suffer from Ulcerative Colitis? It is likely to be one factor amongst many, of which genetic inheritance is almost certainly the most important. And since UC is linked to cancer of the colon, the link betwenn sulphur bacteria and bowel cancer may be just incidental.
