I think that you have way too much time on your hands, although I do agree that the so called 'toys' of todays society should cause concern. Yet they are freely aviable to children all over world and times have changed. What children today find entertaining is a world away from what yesterdays generations used to play with. For technology will only advance and toys will change and todays children won't be able to believe what their children find entertaining.
You must also remember too that toys are only that: toys. If you take them seriously then so will the children for they are nothing but influenced by the world of the grownups that surround them. I hope this allows you to see my point of view on this.
