NEWS!! A VICTORY FOR LABOR - CANADA

Here`s something new, it`s time for celebration!! I`ve just heard in the
news tonigth that workers in a Mcdonald`s restaurant have good
chances to succeed getting an union in !!!!!! I live in Montreal,Canada,
and this story was broadcasted all over the country on the french
version of the CBC National News. More than 80% of 62 employees
voted in favor of an union and the FTQ (Federation des Travailleurs
du Quebec), a big union here in Canada, said the case is going
in the hands of Labor Minister of Quebec, for definitive approval of
the employees accreditation. And the FTQ said they will fight Mcdo-
nals if the employees get harrassed. This Mcdonalds is exactly
located near Montreal, in a city called St-Hubert. This is fantastic!!!
Everybody watching the news in primetimes(6 and 10 o`clock pm.)
could hear and watch the employees, in a press conference, describing their poor working conditions!! THERE`S HOPE!!!!!
