McDonald's in France Serves Beer

According to the Seattle Post Intelligencer, McDonald's stores
in France serve, in some cases, beer.
It is interesting to note that General Bramwell Booth, son
of the Salvation Army founder, saw a link between meat and alcoholism.
His treatment for London alcoholics was vegetarian diet. The success
of his clinics spread the SA throughout the world.
Alcohol's relationship to domestic violence, liver disease,
traffic deaths etc. has caused it to be banned from US airwaves..
but corporations like Jack Daniels skirt the law by having their
signs painted on rodeo boards for contests televized by CBS Cable.
