Thank you Gideon. Your posts are rarely dull and always seem to be well thought out(which is unfortuantely more than I can say for a large number of posters).

I have read that sometime around 2005 US oil reserves will be exhausted and this country will be completely dependent on imported oil for the 30 years or so until that is gone too.


This link has quite a bit of depressing information. While I'm not certain about the accuracy of the statistics, the logic is very clear and quite disturbing.
This link has some useful information on breaking free of advertisers' stranglehold.
I saw both links in previous posts here, and figured I'd post em again.
