Ron: Mike Harris could well be an indicator of what beef does to a society even if some of the people in that society are vegans...this was your remark.Qx: Not true. Read it again. Then again you may just have one helluva an imagination. After all, you the self-appointed debate judge and I'm questioning your authority to assume such a position. Do you know why? Well, it's because you're not in a place of legitimate authority.
Ron: If you like to discuss Ontario politics, perhaps a pseudo-intellect like yourself should start their own forum. The topic in this forum is simple enough; McDonalds.
Qx: And so you appoint yourself the debate room judge on this matter. Now that's rather foolish isn't it? By the way are you an intellect or are you anal retentive enough to try to find new insults. I'm just as good at insults as you are.
Ron: While I would love nothing more than to trade insults with you, I think you misunderstand.
Qx: Trading insults is awaste of time and if you and I can come down to it we just might agree.
Ron: I have no personal love for Mike Harris, or Mel Lastman for that matter.
Qx: Good.
Ron: I do, however, have a personal dislike for anyone who tries to blame society for their problems, because it takes away from personal accountability.
Qx: Now that's a quick one there isn't it? I wasn't even posting to you in the first place and you bluster away with yet another straw man about my blaming society for my personal problems. I think it's you who personalized this first. If you didn't you wouldn't have told me(in such an authoritarian way) to keep on topic. Personalizing is a weakness as far as I'm concerned. Especially when I wasn't posting to you in the first place I feel that it's rather rude that you interrupt. If you don't like it then excuse me for exercising my right to freedom of speech.
Ron: If you think my religion is economics, that is your opinion, although I did not allude anything which would give evidence to support or deny your claim.
Qx: If you read that posting again you might just notice that there are two question marks after the word religion. Check it out for old times sake.
Ron: I am in the economic-class of Ontarians which gets screwed over the most (lower-middle) and work 70-80 hours a week to make ends meet. I am also a realist. I realized long ago, that our government can no longer give away money like candy from its pocket, and we will have to pay for past-government's mistakes. Rather than whine about your current economic status, and blame the government for all that is wrong in your life; you should take charge, put down your squeegee, and join the real world. It is not pretty, but it is the only society we have, and until you can offer constructive-criticism, you should refrain from judging society to harshly, as it is capitolism, and communism hasn't worked yet.
Ron; Well it looks like you typed out a mouthful there. So you resort to the straw man again and tell me what socio-economic status you fall into. That's not the subject I would like to read and your posting appears to be rather self-indulgent to say the least. At worst I wouldn't call it realistic.
Now if you don't like my criticisms of capitalism then you have the choice of not reading my postings don't you? If you think I endorse commmunism then it really makes one wonder which side of the barn you were trying to aim at in the first place. You might even miss it with a squeegee.
Ron: P.S. Feel free to use this note as the opening statement in your Ontario Politics Forum.
Qx: There's other forums with much more exchanges of information going on concerning Ontario politics than could ever get started with your help. Go start you're own discussion forum if you want to be a debate judge. Not to mention being taken seriously.
Ron: P.S.S. Perhaps you were a bigger fan of Bill Davis, or Peterson??? I do not recall a premiere yet which has done this province proud, but I commend them all on dealing with the mess left to them by predecessors.
Qx: Ron, I really don't worry about prior politicians in a province named Ontario so count me out as being a fan of any political party. Yes, that includes the NDP. Maybe Oprah Winfrey would make a good premier of Ontario.
None.
