Why concentrate on Mc Donalds?

What is wrong with the big Mac is true of the industry. Whether franchise or non-franchise, fast food is full of sodium and fat and is not a good food for continuous use.
As for the trade name, Mc Donalds is very sensitve about it, to the point of getting angry about the use of the Mc in front of any name!
You cannot market any product in the states with a Mc in front of the name without Mc Donalds claiming infringement of it's copyrighted name! This is a very sensitive company!
