...read about the upcoming lawsuit against Oprah and Howard Lyman.They're being sued by some evil and extremely wealthy cattle ranchers in Texas under a new (and untested law) called the Agricultural Disparagement law. This is a law that means if you criticize beef or tobacco or alcohol, you could be sued and forced to pay an expensive lawsuit to defend yourself.
So much for freedom of speech in the US, although I'm confident that this law would be ruled unconstitutional if it were challenged.
