The verdict demonstrates what we already knew - that the legal system
is biased towards those with money and influence.

The evidence in the trial vindicated the critisisms and if you think that Bell's judgement means that McDonald's is innocent of the accusations then you really need to open you eyes and read a little about the UK libel laws.
