Doing what? It was McDonald's that filed the lawsuit
The defendants are just having their day in court.
Or should I say years in court. The defendants are just
defending themselves against McDonald's libel charge.

If 100,000 people don't buy McDonald hamburgers because
of the lawsuit and let's say they go to McD's 3 times
a year and spend $10.00 each time that adds up to
a "WHOPPER" of sales lose!

About 3 Million Dollars. Now that's libel!

I used to go to McDonald's about once a week
for years. Spending about 5 dollars. That is
$260.00 per year I no longer spend at McDonald's.

It all adds up! Of course, several of my friends
also have stopped going to McDonald's also. I would
say that this being a worldwide campaign it may be
more like a half a million.

I heard on the news tonight that the McSpotlight Page
had 174,000 visits. So McDonald stock holders
should be quaking in their boots.

Keith

P.S. McDonalds UK. The next time someone libels you, ignore them.

McSpotlight replies:

The 174,000 figure quoted on the TV was for the first week
of McSpotlight being made public. We have now had over 5 million hits.
However, that does not mean 5 million people, just that 5 million
files have been accessed from McSpotlight. That could be 5 million
people reading one page... or one person reading 5 million pages.
The reality is somewhere inbetween ;-)
