I understand your point, but as a customer, you are (if you can afford to) free to choose. I guess that you have biodynamicly breaded animals even in the states. And that you also have organisations (customer-) that ensure that the "rules" are followed.

In sweden, nowdays, you can meat from "happy cows" all over. Unfortunately, the meat is rather expensive.
