I agree entirely. What kind of company mascot is that clown supposed to be? I think the intention is to terrify kids into buying McDonalds crap through simple messages of terror. Parents probably wouldn't notice the subtle effect of an ad featuring what looks very much like the lead character of half the horror films of the last ten years or so. I personaly still feel quite threatened by that pastey-faced freak when it appears on ads. I think it's probably quite an appropriate image though for a company like McDonalds. None.
