McDonalds in India

I recently watched a documentary on the ABC about the sacred cows of India. These people believe the cow is sacred and is the mother of the country. They will live in poverty in order to serve their mother cows until they die. In bad taste, McDonalds have opened 'resturants' in India. I find it appalling and of bad taste and goes to illustrate the absolute dismissal of peoples feelings and cultural values. Add this to the long list of atrocities this company has committed.

McSpotlight: They get round the traditional taboos by serving lamb-burgers. India will also eat buffalo; it's just cows that are sacred.
