So you're paid okay for being unskilled, and maybe the boss treats you nicely. You're still helping a horrible corporation which serves unhealthy crap to children after first manipulating them with slick adds, it's responsible for a ton of animal suffering, it perpetuates the idea of disposable commodities to the detriment of the environment (that's your environment too, don't forget), and it lowers the standards of what people should expect from each other and human society ("fast food"). : I have worked a McDonalds for the best part of 3 years and despite the odd hiccup expected with the best of employers it has been good - i am extremely happy i got a job there. It hurts me to see the rubbish, but other than that i have no complaints. McDonalds do not sack you when you hit 18, they treat you with repect and reward your loyalty to them. When compared to other employers of youth they are up there with the best.
: I think you lot should stop whinging and realise that you are YOUTHS that are UNSKILLED, what do you expect? to be paid like rocket scientists? If it is that bad... QUIT! I cant comment on other countries, but in Australia, Western Australia at least, McDonalds is a fine employer.
