I just don't get it...

I often think that the new Kubrick film, "EYES WIDE SHUT" is a perfect analogy to Mcdonald's and all it represents. You can tell people the facts behind the food (very low nutritional value that'll end up cutting years off their lives) as well as the unhumane methods used to bring the consumer the food (read anything about confinement agriculture, nuff said) but yet they continue to patronize the restaurants and many others like it?
What does that say about us???
