Look around you! Taxes are ridiculous, and any attempt to lower them is vetoed by the prez so they can take care of social(ist) security or because they "cater to the rich"(depending on the audience). Congress is working on tearing the constitution to shreds every day, and our rights are being taken away from us. I never said anything about conspiracies, though they do occur. BTW, we are a Federal Republic, and Democratic Republic can mean anything(Democratic Republis of East Germany, etc.).
