: im haveing trouble understanding what is wrong with saying what has already been said...just becuase someone says something they didnt come up with , how can that mean that its not true or not a valid point or anything less than the first time it was said? if i hear good ideas that i agree with im gonna accept em and try to spread em...so what exactly is wrong with that?

I think you miss the point. Pointing me to information is fine, but if you rely on that for an entire argument,it doesn't work to well.
