Where I live we use farenheit not celcious, so offhand I dont know what 98c is, although I know its almost boiling. So I took to the internet to search for a conversion. You say that you serve coffee at 98c which converts to 208f, when in fact Burger Kings rule is that coffee be served at 180f, or 82c. Your coffee machine shouldn't even be heating water to the boiling point.

I think it was McSpotlight who said a while ago that the coffee you make at home is around 140f. I'll bet that if you drank that "straight off" (I'm assuming you mean to drink it all at once, as if it were a cold drink) it would kill you, or at least cause internal damage
