Please tell me, kind and witty sir, just what good you think you do for people on a day to day basis (Leaving out, for now, your priceless contributions to current sociological theory via stinging and cunning polemics) and do tell how you think the inescapable presence of McDonalds in this world is supposed to help me along in my morning. Is it supposed to so repulse me that I have no option other than to completely succumb to an overwhelming existential crisis, the likes of which shall whisk me away from pre-reflective thought to a fuller self-consciousness? Even, or especially, in this case I would be forced to resoundingly conclude that the very idea of McDonalds is antithetical to all which is human or aspires, perhaps, beyond. None.
