GE is a conglomorate, they make light bulbs, plain engines, and they even have a life insurance company in Japan. McDs, on the other hand, sells food and only food, with the ocasional toy in order to promote food. They are not conglomerate.
:You (the public in general) have to know that McDonald's policy is to see a return for money spent.
If companies didn't make a profit, they would go out of business, and we(the public) would be screwed.

Sure they do. They can get a lot of enviromentalists in their stores if they hype it.
