WRONG! the filet did have a half slice of cheese until 1996 when the Filet Deluxe was introduced. The filet deluxe was then dicontinued because the customers were not happy (proof that we DO care about customer opinions) The filet o' fish ( with the half slice of cheese), has been on the market since 1997
