Well... let me respond to each accusation. First of all, I am not "corrupting those with good purposes." Quite the opposite. You have no idea what, or how many, organizations I belong to. Organizations which work to improve society, the environment, and the Earth.Second, I am probably more versed in the basic principles of a functioning society than you. Besides having a Bachelor's degree in business, I have worked in service industries for more than 15 years. I know both the theories and practices.
Third, you are right when you say that it is us (the general public) who allow the corporations to flourish. So why are you blaming the McDonald's employees? They have as little to do with it as you or I. They are simply doing a job.
Fourth, I never said that a job at McDonald's is the only thing keeping people from being homeless.
Fifth, while I do have flaws (we all do), I am most certainly not at a low point. And I definitely am not passive. Don't mistake compassion for passivity.
Sixth, I do not rely on a "manipulating corporate giant" for my basic needs. I (along with a partner) own my own business.
Seventh, What does where and how AIDS came from have anything to do with the rest of your argument?
Finally, either you are deluding yourself or you need to learn the definition of compassion. You say you have it, yet you falsely criticize me, find fault with all McDonald's employees, and wish AIDS or herpes on me. I would not wish those, or any other diseases, accidents, etc. on anyone. You said I should rely on myself for my basic needs. Yet in your first sentence you say you are unhappy because people like me are allowed to live. Why don't you follow your own advice and rely on yourself for your own happiness. I really have nothing to do with it.
