I think the Y2K thing is a tad bit overblown.

Luke, I don't believe that's going to be a big crisis for McDonald's or any of the other major corporations. There may be a few slight pains in the ass, but I don't see a big state of anarchy coming to pass. Most modern computer systems are Y2K compliant, and my bank is mostly ready.

But it's disturbing that you and others seem so hopeful that this "crisis" will be devastating to McD's and other businesses. Love 'em or hate 'em, most of us work for medium to major corporations, we take a paycheck from them. The last thing I or others want to see is a crisis like that. A bad, not to mention selfish wish, for sure.
