ill-mannered people

Yes, I'm a long-haul trucker who sees ill-mannered people in McDonald's all the time. I can understand your frustration when it seems that courtesy and manners seem to be at an all-time low in this country. As a tractor trailer driver I appreciate the fact that McDonald's offers us truck parking at many of their restaurants and that we truckers are afforded the same courtesy that we pay McDonald's. In the South, some McDonald's even have "Driver's sections" in their restaurants, which shows how much they appreciate our business. Your plaint concerning discourteous patrons is certainly a valid one -- hang in there!
