Keri, you might also want to read Michelle Fine's FRAMING DROPOUTS, where she does some rather intensive research on high school dropouts. Questionnaires are a rather suspect type of research when taken all by themselves; Fine's book might suggest a more rigorous way of getting at the truth about what makes people drop out of high school.
