In years gone by our communities were smaller, we knew our neighbours, and we could not anonymously behave like jerks. Now days we respect each others privacy, two doors away from home and no one knows who you are. So there is no social pressure on us to behave socially, as a result we need other sorts of incentives to behave. I often think we should all carry camera's around with us, so when we witness events, we can take photos. I see a lot of mail box pilfering, and even have witnessed a couple running from a hold up, wouldn't a camera then have helped Justice?

I am wondering on what the thought towards government surveillance on the public is. The amount of video cameras is growing everyday and with that our privacy is depleting everyday. It can be a camera placed on a busy highway to monitor traffic or one place outside your window to monitor your sleeping habits. I am curious to peoples thoughts on this subject.
