Can I ask you a question (sorry, didn't give you much choice there...)?

How many schools have you been to? If it's just a few, then I understand - I've been to seven schools (I'm at my eighth now), and at some of them the teachers didn't seem to know the meaning of freedom of speech. I disagreed with schools that had unifoms (most do in Australia) because I felt like a clone of everybody else, inside and out. It really went beyond the uniform, too. At one school, we had chapel once a fortnight, and as I don't believe in many of the Roman Catholic Church's teachings, I felt that my own beliefs were being repressed. At other schools the teachers' political views were inflicted on us, and one stage, I even spent some time at a school for kids who weren't doing well in regular school. The teaches there often abused the kids, but luckily it didn't happen to me as I told my parents what I saw, and they let me leave.

Why am I opening up like this? Perhaps because it's only the internet. Even if the ISP is traced, I'm using a computer that's accessed by lots of other people. I'm also not using my real name. That's why I can be so blunt about everything.

Anyway, if you haven't finished school yet, you could change to anoter school. If you've been to lots and you haven't found one that suits you, then school's just not right fo you - it's the same for me. You could get an apprenticeship or see if there's a course you can do for the career you want that doesn't require a high school diploma or an HSC or whatever. It's just a thought.
