After several hours of research on sweatshops, I am very sorry to say that it seems there is no information leading to the fact that sweatshops contribute to the economy or otherwise benefit the world today. Contrary to Ekaf Eman's statement claiming that workers would rather live this grueling lifestyle, away from their homes and families, research shows that they do not prefer this lifestyle, only that they do ot know a way out and are unaware of their rights.

Exploitation of human beings is not justifiable no matter the state of the national economy, the profit for others, the enjoyment a child, or any other reason. Big business is ruthless, and will continue to be that way, until people learn their basic human rights. To support this type of economy leads only to further misery for some, and minor enjoyment of material goods for others.
