Mike,While I would never condone the use of any psychoactive drug by children, the consentual use of those substances is the right of all American adults under the Constitution (and was not illegal before 1914). Along with that right comes the obligation to assume the consequences of their actions while they are under the influence of those substances.
Please don't confuse responsible use with abuse. Some people might condemn you for your three beers. I say it's your right. By the way, you should be aware that while thousands die each year from alcohol overdoses, there has never been a recorded death from marijuana overdose.
