deadbeat mother

I have a little boy that is now eight years old. He is my step son. He has lived with us since he was two years old. His mother will not pay child support. We have had to take her to Court each time just to receive a little money. The most she has to pay is $25.00 per week. She has never paid willingly. We have always had to garnish her check. When we do this, she quits. We used to get her income tax. This year to prevent us from obtaining her income tax, she got married on December 31, 1998. She filed a joint return with her new husband. This prevented us from getting her income tax return. As you can probably know, her visitation with this child has also been spordiac. We have had her visitation rights suspended. She has not called to check on this child in two years. So as you can see, it is not only men that do not support their children, there are also a few women that don't either.
