You're congratulating us for being an example citizen? Without being rude I'm not sure how else to respond to you. My life should be miserable since ther are other people in the world who are as well? Is this what you are saying? I'm not sure I follow you. You mean to tell me that before you take any action in your life, you consider who it will effect and to what extent? Be realistic here friend.Suppose I wanted to labor my entire life in order to save up all the moeny I made and send it to each and every "chained up person who has a $16 family debt", should I get a job next door to my coradboard box? Or can I own a car to drive a little further to make more money? Well then, who is my car hurting should I choose to own one and drive? Who am I hurting should I choose to walk?
Guess what? If we collectively don't buy these MD toys, and MD doesn't have them made in these countries, where will these chained up debters go to earn money?
Do I think we (again, collectively) should be involved in helping out humanity for the sheer sake of doing so? Absolutley! Do I think that we should all listen to the irrational ramblings of a mad man? No.
How about I destroy all my happy meal toys, and take away all happiness that my kids get out of toys (most of which are made over-seas) and not purchasing them any more, and since they are no longer playing with toys I put them to work to make money to help out others? Sounds great! (dripping sarcasm here, in case you couldn't tell).
No, I think not. How dare you judge me or others like me when you have no idea what we've been through or how we live our lives?!?!
As a country, the USA comes to the aid of more people throughout the world than all other counties put together. You can kiss my toy collecting butt and stick your rubbish back into your bodily cavities it came from!
And have a happy day!
None.
