injury at indoor playground

my child was seriously injured at the local mcd's franchise, everyone says, it is not there fault, corp, says it's the franchises problem they are separate from us!! What a scam, they advertise nationally yet claim no tie to any franchise!! we have $37,000 in medical bills and they offered to cover "up to $500 in reasonable medical expenses"!!!! Does anyone have any suggestions for me???
